David Saxe received his undergraduate degree in psychology from Illinois Wesleyan University in 1993 and his Juris Doctor, magna cum laude, from Northern Illinois University in 2016. He also earned a Specialist Degree in School Psychology from Illinois State University (1998), a Doctor of Education in Administration & Supervision from Loyola University-Chicago (2011), and a Mediation Training certificate from the Northwestern University School of Professional Studies. Prior to attending law school, Dr. Saxe worked for 15 years as a school psychologist, dean of students, director of student services and assistant principal in Chicago-area high schools. During that time he also presented on various educational topics at local, State and national conferences. Before joining ECB&S, Dr. Saxe completed an externship with the Illinois Educational Labor Relations Board. His practice at ECB&S covers all areas of school law.
