Before joining ECB&S, Katie worked at a private law firm specializing in special education law and, since 2016, served as the Due Process Manager for the Chicago Public Schools, where she represented CPS in special education legal matters.
We are pleased to announce that Abby Rogers has joined our firm as senior counsel. Abby focuses her practice on general labor matters and counseling clients in all aspects of the employment relationship and compliance with employment laws. She has experience in particular with FMLA and medical and disability issues in the workplace, technology issues, drug testing, employment discrimination and employee discipline matters. Abby represents employers in related labor arbitrations, administrative and judicial proceedings and values working preemptively with clients to manage litigation risks.
We are pleased to announce that Luis A. Rodriguez has joined our firm as a partner. Luis concentrates his practice in the areas of special education/disability law and other student-related matters. Before joining ECB&S, he uniquely served in both legal and high-level administrative roles with the Chicago Public Schools (CPS) special education department.
